Ons leerders het hulself met selfvertroue, voorbereiding en sterk redenasievermoë op nasionale vlak onderskei, en hul uitslae is ’n besondere prestasie vir beide die deelnemers en ons skool.

Oppietongaf bied ’n nasionale platform vir redenaars en debat
Die Oppietongaf-platform gee leerders die geleentheid om hul kommunikasie-, redenasie- en debatvaardighede op ’n hoë vlak te ontwikkel en teen sterk mededingers uit verskillende dele van die land mee te ding.
Om by die nasionale rondte uit te kom, is op sigself reeds ’n besondere prestasie.
Debat vereis baie meer as net goeie taalgebruik. Deelnemers moet idees vinnig kan ontleed, argumente logies kan bou, teenargumente verstaan en hul standpunte met selfvertroue en duidelikheid kan verdedig.
Die vaardighede wat deur deelname aan debat ontwikkel word, strek ook veel verder as die kompetisie self. Dit help leerders om krities te dink, met selfvertroue te kommunikeer en verskillende perspektiewe met volwassenheid te benader.
Immanuel en Meerab behaal ’n uitstekende 3de plek
Immanuel en Meerab het ’n uitmuntende prestasie gelewer deur algeheel 3de in die nasionale rondte te eindig.
’n Podiumplek op nasionale vlak is ’n besondere prestasie en weerspieël die voorbereiding, fokus en spanwerk wat in hul deelname ingegaan het.

Tlangi en Nabeel eindig algeheel 4de
Tlangi en Nabeel het ook uitstekend gevaar en algeheel 4de geëindig.
Om onder die voorste deelnemers in ’n nasionale kompetisie te eindig, is ’n prestasie waarop hulle met reg trots kan wees.
Hul resultaat toon duidelik dat harde werk, voorbereiding en deursettingsvermoë vrugte afwerp.

Triegies excel at the Oppietongaf English Debate National Round
Hoërskool Louis Trichardt is incredibly proud of our learners who achieved excellent results at the Oppietongaf English Debate – National Round.
Our learners distinguished themselves at national level through confidence, preparation and strong debating ability, making these results a proud achievement for both the participants and our school.
A huge congratulations to Immanuel and Meerab, who finished 3rd overall, as well as Tlangi and Nabeel, who achieved 4th overall.
These results reflect hard work, dedication and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively under pressure.
Oppietongaf provides a national platform for debate
The Oppietongaf platform gives learners the opportunity to develop their communication, reasoning and debating skills at a high level while competing against strong participants from different parts of the country.
Reaching the national round is already a significant achievement.
Debating requires far more than strong language skills. Participants need to analyse ideas quickly, build logical arguments, understand opposing viewpoints and defend their own position with confidence and clarity.
The skills developed through debate also extend far beyond the competition itself. They help learners think critically, communicate confidently and engage with different perspectives in a mature and constructive way.
Immanuel and Meerab achieve an outstanding 3rd place
Immanuel and Meerab delivered an excellent performance and finished 3rd overall in the national round.
Achieving a podium position at national level is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects the preparation, focus and teamwork behind their performance.
We are extremely proud of the way they represented Hoërskool Louis Trichardt and showcased their abilities at such a high level.
Tlangi and Nabeel finish 4th overall
Tlangi and Nabeel also performed exceptionally well, finishing 4th overall.
Placing among the top participants in a national competition is an achievement they can be very proud of.
Their result is a clear reflection of hard work, preparation and perseverance.
