Hoërskool Louis Trichardt se Fast 5-netbalspanne het op Vrydag en Saterdag, 4 en 5 September 2026, aan die Limpopo-uitspele by Hoërskool Pietersburg deelgeneem.
Ons o.14-, o.15-, o.17- en eerste span het die skool met trots verteenwoordig en gedurende ’n aksiebelaaide naweek alles op die baan gegee. Die spelers het hul vaardigheid, spoed en deursettingsvermoë gewys, terwyl elke span mekaar met ware Triegies-gees ondersteun het.
Fast 5-netbal is bekend vir sy vinnige spel, hoë intensiteit en voortdurende druk. Spelers moet vinnig dink, doeltreffend kommunikeer en as ’n hegte eenheid saamwerk. Ons Triegies het hierdie uitdaging met moed en vasberadenheid aangepak en waardevolle ervaring teen sterk skole van regoor Limpopo opgedoen.
Eerste span eindig tweede in hul poel
Die eerste span het ’n besonder sterk reeks wedstryde gespeel en vyf van hul ses poelwedstryde gewen.
Hul uitslae was soos volg:
- Wen teen Northern Academy: 21–19
- Wen teen Jabez: 41–5
- Verloor teen PHS: 14–24
- Wen teen Hans Strijdom: 18–13
- Wen teen Piet Potgieter: 23–19
- Wen teen Frikkie Meyer: 24–15
Hierdie uitstekende vertoning het verseker dat die span algeheel tweede in hul poel geëindig en na die kwarteindstryd deurgedring het. In die kwarteindstryd het hulle teen Ben Vorster te staan gekom en die wedstryd met 13–33 verloor.
Hoewel hul uitspele hier tot ’n einde gekom het, kan die span baie trots wees op hul vyf oorwinnings, hul plek in die kwarteindstryd en die vasberadenheid waarmee hulle deur die hele kompetisie gespeel het.
o.17-span eindig vierde in hul poel
Die o.17-span het ’n uitdagende reeks wedstryde met moed aangepak en twee belangrike oorwinnings behaal.
Hul uitslae was:
- Wen teen Flora Park: 13–9
- Verloor teen Capricorn: 4–32
- Verloor teen PHS: 4–48
- Verloor teen Frans du Toit: 7–29
- Wen teen Ellisras: 13–12
Die span het vierde in hul poel geëindig. Hul oorwinnings teen Flora Park en Ellisras het gewys dat hulle tot die einde toe bly veg het en nooit moed opgegee het nie.
o.15-span eindig derde in hul poel
Die o.15-span het drie wedstryde gespeel en hul veldtog met ’n spannende oorwinning teen Noorderland afgesluit.
Hul uitslae was:
- Verloor teen Capricorn: 18–24
- Verloor teen Frans du Toit: 10–27
- Wen teen Noorderland: 18–17
Met hierdie uitslae het die span derde in hul poel geëindig. Die naelskraapse oorwinning teen Noorderland was ’n besondere hoogtepunt en het die spelers se vermoë gewys om onder druk kalm te bly en tot die laaste fluitjie te veg.
o.14-span eindig vierde in hul poel
Ons o.14-span het hul wedstryde met groot entoesiasme en vasberadenheid aangepak. Hulle het ook ’n uitstekende oorwinning van 16–15 teen PHS behaal.
Hul uitslae was:
- Wen teen PHS: 16–15
- Verloor teen Hans Strijdom: 10–16
- Verloor teen Merensky: 13–17
Die span het algeheel vierde in hul poel geëindig. Die spelers het waardevolle wedstrydervaring opgedoen en deurgaans goeie spanwerk en veggees getoon.
Trots op elke Triegie
Die Fast 5 Limpopo-uitspele het vir ons spelers die geleentheid gebied om hulself teen sterk teenstanders te toets, as spanne te groei en nuwe wedstrydervaring op te doen.
Die finale posisies was:
- Eerste span: Tweede in hul poel en kwarteindfinaliste
- o.15-span: Derde in hul poel
- o.17-span: Vierde in hul poel
- o.14-span: Vierde in hul poel
Hoërskool Louis Trichardt bedank elke speler wat met trots die Triegie-kleure gedra het. Baie dankie ook aan ons afrigters en ondersteuners vir julle tyd, leiding, aanmoediging en toewyding.
Ons is ongelooflik trots op die sportmanskap, spanwerk en deursettingsvermoë wat ons spelers gedurende die uitspele gewys het.

Triegies Fast 5 Netball Teams Show Their Strength at the Limpopo Playoffs
Hoërskool Louis Trichardt’s Fast 5 netball teams participated in the Limpopo playoffs at Hoërskool Pietersburg on Friday and Saturday, 4 and 5 September 2026.
Our U14, U15, U17 and first teams proudly represented the school and gave their all on the court throughout an action-packed weekend. The players showed skill, speed and determination, while supporting one another with true Triegies spirit.
Fast 5 netball is known for its fast-paced play, high intensity and constant pressure. Players need to think quickly, communicate effectively and work together as a strong unit. Our Triegies embraced the challenge with courage and determination while gaining valuable experience against strong schools from across Limpopo.
First Team Finishes Second in Their Pool
The first team produced an impressive series of performances, winning five of their six pool matches.
Their results were as follows:
- Won against Northern Academy: 21–19
- Won against Jabez: 41–5
- Lost against PHS: 14–24
- Won against Hans Strijdom: 18–13
- Won against Piet Potgieter: 23–19
- Won against Frikkie Meyer: 24–15
This excellent performance saw the team finish second overall in their pool and advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal, they faced Ben Vorster and lost the match 13–33.
Although their playoff journey ended there, the team can be extremely proud of their five victories, their place in the quarterfinals and the determination they showed throughout the competition.
U17 Team Finishes Fourth in Their Pool
The U17 team took on a challenging series of matches with courage and recorded two important victories.
Their results were:
- Won against Flora Park: 13–9
- Lost against Capricorn: 4–32
- Lost against PHS: 4–48
- Lost against Frans du Toit: 7–29
- Won against Ellisras: 13–12
The team finished fourth in their pool. Their victories against Flora Park and Ellisras showed that they continued fighting until the end and never gave up.
U15 Team Finishes Third in Their Pool
The U15 team played three matches and ended their campaign with an exciting victory against Noorderland.
Their results were:
- Lost against Capricorn: 18–24
- Lost against Frans du Toit: 10–27
- Won against Noorderland: 18–17
These results saw the team finish third in their pool. The narrow victory against Noorderland was a particular highlight and demonstrated the players’ ability to remain calm under pressure and fight until the final whistle.
U14 Team Finishes Fourth in Their Pool
Our U14 team approached their matches with great enthusiasm and determination. They also recorded an excellent 16–15 victory against PHS.
Their results were:
- Won against PHS: 16–15
- Lost against Hans Strijdom: 10–16
- Lost against Merensky: 13–17
The team finished fourth overall in their pool. The players gained valuable match experience and consistently showed excellent teamwork and fighting spirit.
Proud of Every Triegie
The Fast 5 Limpopo playoffs gave our players the opportunity to test themselves against strong opposition, grow as teams and gain valuable match experience.
The final positions were:
- First team: Second in their pool and quarterfinalists
- U15 team: Third in their pool
- U17 team: Fourth in their pool
- U14 team: Fourth in their pool
