Die WOW Spelfees bied aan leerders die geleentheid om hul taalvaardighede, spelling en woordkennis op ’n groter verhoog ten toon te stel. Dit is ’n besondere geleentheid vir jong taalentoesiaste om hul kennis uit te brei, waardevolle ervaring op te doen en hul liefde vir Afrikaans verder te ontwikkel.

’n Besondere bydrae van Edublox
In aanloop tot die WOW Spelfees het Jeanne Swanepoel ’n geskenkbewys van Edublox aan ons leerders oorhandig.
Hierdie gebaar van ondersteuning word opreg waardeer en dra by tot die aanmoediging van ons jong taalentoesiaste.
Hoërskool Louis Trichardt bedank Jeanne Swanepoel en Edublox hartlik vir hul betrokkenheid en die ondersteuning wat hulle aan ons leerders bied.
Dit is vir ons skool besonders om te sien hoe die gemeenskap saamstaan om ons leerders se talente aan te moedig en hulle te ondersteun wanneer hulle nuwe geleenthede aanpak.
Die waarde van taalontwikkeling
Spelkompetisies bied veel meer as net die geleentheid om woorde korrek te spel. Dit help leerders om hul woordeskat uit te brei, hul konsentrasie te verbeter en selfvertroue in hul taalgebruik te ontwikkel.
Deur aan kompetisies soos die WOW Spelfees deel te neem, kry leerders die geleentheid om hul kennis op die proef te stel en nuwe vaardighede aan te leer.
Die voorbereiding vir so ’n kompetisie verg toewyding, volgehoue oefening en die bereidwilligheid om voortdurend te leer.
Hierdie vaardighede is nie net waardevol tydens die kompetisie nie, maar dra ook by tot leerders se akademiese en persoonlike ontwikkeling.

Hoërskool Louis Trichardt is incredibly proud of our learners who will have the opportunity to participate in the WOW Spelling Festival on 3 October 2026 in Stellenbosch.
The WOW Spelling Festival provides learners with the opportunity to showcase their language skills, spelling abilities and vocabulary on a larger stage. It is a wonderful opportunity for young language enthusiasts to expand their knowledge, gain valuable experience and further develop their appreciation for language.
Our Triegies look forward to embracing this challenge and proudly representing Hoërskool Louis Trichardt.
